In 2012, Pam began her journey as a cashier at a local greenhouse in Escanaba, Michigan, where she quickly developed a passion for floral design. Before long, she advanced to the position of manager of the floral department. When the greenhouse closed in April 2017, Pam, with the encouragement of family and friends, decided to open her own floral shop. It was a daunting decision, one she never imagined she would make.
Over the next few years, things were going well with her daughter Lexie by her side, until the COVID pandemic forced flower shops in Escanaba, MI, to close their doors for several weeks. This challenging time led to significant changes, including Lexie choosing to explore other career avenues, where she has truly excelled. As of February 1, 2023, Lexie returned to the floral shop part-time, opting for a flexible career while raising her son, who was born in December 2022. Now, alongside Lexie and Clarissa, Pam ensures that their cooler is stocked and the community stays smiling with fresh flowers all year long! This spring (2024), we will proudly celebrate our 7th Anniversary and are thrilled to be a part of the Escanaba Downtown Community, one of the beloved flower shops in Escanaba.
Pam grew up in Rapid River, Michigan, graduating from the same high school as her parents, Lynn & Dave. She is part of a big family (with many cousins still in the Rapid River area) - the oldest of four kids, with many nieces and nephews (even a couple of great-nieces and a great-nephew). She met her husband, Jason, during their senior year of high school (he grew up in Escanaba). Jason is the youngest of 3 boys raised by Jim & Wanda in the Riverland area of Escanaba.
Pam & Jason raised their son & daughter (Brett & Lexie) in the Hyde area of rural Escanaba. The kids have both moved out of the house and are pursuing their dreams. Lexie became engaged in the spring of 2022 and was blessed with her first child in December 2022. We celebrated her & Tyler's wedding in October 2024. Pam & Jason are very excited to spoil their first grandson - James Jason Robert or JJ for short.
We are so blessed with our family and friends who always step up to help with deliveries and anything else that may come along.
